About

Harbourside Dental is the new name of a dental practice that many people in Port Dalhousie and the greater  St. Catharines area have always known as “Dr. Korody & Associates”.  In September 2016 Dr. Frank Korody sold his practice to Dr. Mark Poustie.  Dr. Frank, however, continues to work in the office most days with a slight reduction in his hours of availability.  There have been no changes with the “Office Team”, in the way we care and provide dentistry, and fees remain the same.

Dr. Frank always felt that if he could find the right individual who possessed similar traits and philosophy of life and practice to his, and someone whom he could trust to care for his practice family as he would and someone with whom he could confidently work with … then he would consider selling his practice.  He can proudly say that he found that person in Dr. Mark Poustie.  He feels confident that he can pass the torch to him for the next generation of patients.

Dr. Mark is a warm, gentle, compassionate and caring person who is both an excellent dentist and a dedicated family man.   Mark has a kind soul and gentle demeanor.  He combines traits that allow him to balance career and family.  Mark and his wife Heather were both raised in the Niagara region and were drawn back to the area after many years away attending university and completing their post secondary degrees.   Mark, Heather and their two children live in Port Dalhousie and have been part of the community for the last 10 years.

Our Mission Statement

To our patients, we provide our knowledge, skill & expertise. We encourage our patients to share with us their needs & concerns. Together, we work to achieve the optimum in dental health.

Our Philosophy

Harbourside Dental is committed to helping our patients achieve the best possible outcome for their dental health in a calm and caring environment.

We strongly encourage our patients to have a regular comprehensive dental and periodontal exam which includes a thorough exam of the teeth and gums. These exams help us create a personalized treatment plan specifically for each patient. Regular appointments help minimize and sometimes eliminate the need for further dental procedures. All treatment options are explained thoroughly and and we are happy to answer any questions.
